Reality TV Stans are about to become very familiar with the name Kimbella “Still Look Pretty” Vanderhee.
If you’re an authority on video vixens, the self-professed biracial butterfly requires little introduction. But in case you aren’t, just know that Kim is the celeb-lovin’ Miami girl who hit the golddigger’s jackpot when she caught the attention of Dipset emcee Juelz Santana on Twitter back in 2009.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Today, Juelz and Kim are the parents of a one-year-old son, also named Juelz. Yet no longer content being just another pretty face attached to a “baller,” Kim is setting out with hopes to invade the pop scene — a transition we’ll see get to see her make when VH1′s Love & Hip-Hop returns for a second season of tomfoolery and “Hoodrat Stuff” on Nov. 14.
Ah — which brings us to the point of this post: Chile, have you seen the supertrailer for this year’s show?! We got our first look at the all-new eppys last week and by the looks of it, Kimbella will be anything but “Belle of the Ball” with Jim Jones’ main squeeze, Chrissy Lampkin. After tuning into the first season of Love & Hip-Hop, we learned two things: 1.) Chrissy had a rep as quite the harlot on the streets of Harlem back in the day. (The girl “allegedly” bedded everyone from Jay-Z to notorious drug dealers Rich Porter and Alpo Martinez in her “Hoe Shit Days.”) and 2.) She’s more desperate for a ring than LeBron James!
But it wasn’t until we watched her first encounter with Kimbella did we learn that Chrissy can scrap with the best of ‘em! Apparently, golddigging isn’t the only thing Homegirl learned on the gritty streets of ’80s Manhattan. And Kimbella’s goose isn’t the only one that got cooked by Ole Chrissy this season; Word on the Curb has it that she physically sparred with new castmember Yandy Smith (Jim’s now former manager) as recently as this month.
