Imagine if you will, you’ve taken the time to learn a Bad Wolves or God Forbid song and posted the final results to the internet. Then all of a sudden, you learn that the dude you imitated — one Doc Coyle — has reacted to your clip. I can’t imagine what that’s like, but thanks to today’s video some people out there on YouTube are about to get one hell of a shock.
We recently caught up with Coyle to see what he thought about some of the work the fans are putting together to show their support for both Bad Wolves and God Forbid. With covers ranging from Bad Wolves’ “Zombie” to God Forbid’s “Force-Fed”, the intensity may vary but the passion remains constant, which isn’t lost on Doc at all. Regardless of whether the video quality was studio grade or shot in a relatively dark bedroom, Doc’s a fan of these fans.
We’d like to thank Doc Coyle for taking the time out of his day to celebrate the fans and their dedication to not only learning the tunes, but for picking up their instruments to begin with. It takes a lot of courage to learn something new and it takes even more courage to post it on the internet for all to see.
