A dexterous range of twangy guitars and steady vocal momentum enamor on “Edited Adrenaline,” a new single from Proper Youth. Described as “the first and fastest single,” from their upcoming full-length, Rusty Grand Am, “Edited Adrenaline” stirs in its “I’m not giving up,” lyrical perseverance — supported in the second half by warming brass and bursting guitars alike. Aesthetically conjuring a vibe similar to The War on Drugs and Kurt Vile with its driving rock atmospherics, “Edited Adrenaline” is a winning output from Proper Youth. We’re certainly excited to hear the rest of Rusty Grand Am.
