Anthony Edwards Even Has Cool adidas Skate Shoes Now

Anthony Edwards already has a sizzling hot signature basketball shoe with adidas (it even comes in an excellent low-top option now). Now, the Timberwolves basketball star is dropping...adidas skate shoes. Well, sort of.

This low-profile Anthony Edwards adidas shoe, the Rivalry Low, is technically a retro basketball shoe in its own right, as it was first worn by basketball icon Patrick Ewing during his own NBA heyday.

But with this chunked-up look and equally thick shoelaces, Edwards' adidas Rivalry Low sneaker bears a striking resemblance to the skate sneakers from the 90s and early 2000s.

This is not to say that the adidas Rivalry Low doesn't look good this way — it does, even more so with this uber-nice colorway seen above that was made exclusive for Edwards (and blessed by his literal co-sign, no less).

For Edwards' Rivalry Low sneakers, smooth nubuck textures wrap the upper, which is painted with the familiar black and peachy orange hues first seen on Edwards' now-famous AE 1 signature shoe.

Again, as the Rivalry sneakers get topped with these skate-worthy laces, Edwards signs his initials on the bright-colored shoe's velvety heel.

At the same time, adidas Basketball motifs dress the sneaker's insole, reiterating the fact that its roots go back to hoops (even if it does really look more like a skate shoe nowadays).

In case any members of the Edwards fan club are wondering, Edwards' adidas Rivalry Low sneakers are now available at, of all places, Foot Locker for the smooth price of $100.

Too smooth, perhaps: as we speak, there are only a few sizes left of Edwards' beautiful adidas skate-like sneakers.

No surprises there, considering Edwards' basketball shoes barely last on shelves when they drop, demonstrating a simple truth.

From the court to the designing the year's best shoes, Anthony Edwards (and, frankly, adidas Basketball) just can't seem to miss.
