Another month, another monthly poll about your favorite album from the previous month. Got that? Good. This time around, we’re going to task you guys with picking your favorite album from April, which proved to be another excellent month for metal.
Seriously, just looking at the list I can see some heavy hitters like Necrot’s Lifeless Birth, High On Fire’s Cometh The Storm, and Black Tusk’s The Way Forward. But what I may consider absolute bangers, you may despise, so you choose the album that stands out to you. After all, it’s the reader poll and not the lead editor poll. That would be a boring poll to participate in.
Voting will be open until Friday, May 31 at 12 p.m. EST.
As for what we’re doing for the rest of 2024, you’re going to vote on your favorite album each month until the end of the year. Then, when January rolls around, you’ll all vote on your favorite album from the 12 winners from the previous year. The album that wins there, will be the Reader’s Choice selection for 2024.
