Pop music has certainly seen its share of extravagant weddings over the years, but even against such ostentatious competition, Cardi B’s upcoming marriage to Migos’ Offset looks like it’s going to stand out. In a new interview with New York magazine, Cardi lets slip a few incredible details about the eventual nuptials, such as the fact that all her bridesmaids will be wearing suits, and that “everybody got to be wearing red”. In her words: “the world is not ready for it”.
Elsewhere in the interview, Cardi deftly evades definitively answering whether or not she’s affiliated with the Bloods, despite her love of the colour red and her habit of starting C-words with a B, such as ‘bocaine’ and “Bardashians.”
She also states that she’s definitely not a feminist: “You know what? I’m not even gonna consider myself nothing,” she said when asked about the label. “Here’s the thing that bitches got me f—ed up when it comes to that word. People think that being a feminist is a bitch that, like, went to school. They wear skirts all the way to their motherf—ing ankles like a goddamn First Lady,” she continued. “That’s not being a feminist. Being a feminist is being equal to do what a man do.”
