GLOBAL NEWS RADIO STATIONS IN TORONTO, HAMILTON AND LONDON ANNOUNCE LINEUP CHANGES FOR FALL

New Morning Shows Premiere across 640 Toronto, 900 CHML and 980 CFPL

TORONTO, September 8, 2021 – Global News Radio announced today new morning show programs across all three Ontario AM stations. Toronto Today with Greg Brady airs from 5:30 to 9 a.m. on 640 Toronto, Good Morning Hamilton with Rick Zamperin airs from 5:30 to 9 a.m. on 900 CHML and The Morning Show with Devon Peacock airs from 6:00 to 9 a.m. on CFPL. All shows launched on Tuesday, September 7. In addition to being heard on radio, shows are also available on Radioplayer Canada, Amazon Echo, Google Home and via Globalnews.ca.

Global News Radio 640 Toronto:
Toronto Today with Greg Brady airs weekdays from 5:30 to 9 a.m. Brady started his career in his hometown of London, Ont. and has been working in the industry for over twenty years. He is well known to 640 listeners for time spent guest hosting over the last year. The morning show team is rounded out by Anchor Dave Bradley and Technical Producer Rob Trevisan.

Global News Radio 900 CHML Hamilton:
Good Morning Hamilton with Rick Zamperin airs weekdays from 5:30 to 9 a.m. Zamperin has been with the station for the past twenty years and also serves in a leadership role as the Assistant Program Director for the station. Zamperin will be joined by Anchors Paul Tipple and Shiona Thompson who have been with the company for over twenty years.

Hamilton Today with Scott Thompson airs weekdays from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. A long-standing member of the CHML team, Thompson has been with the station for 16 years.

Global News Radio 980 CFPL London:
The Morning Show with Devon Peacock airs weekdays from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. Peacock has been with the station for almost twenty years.

Additionally, a new afternoon drive show called London Live with Mike Stubbs airs from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Stubbs is well known locally for his work as the play-by-play announcer for London Knights games on CFPL. He has been heard on the station over the last five years.

New Regional Shows:
Rounding out the lineup changes above, The Bill Kelly Show airs weekdays on both 980 CFPL and 900 CHML from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kelly has been with CHML for the past 14 years.

The Alan Carter Radio Program airs weekdays from 12 to 1 p.m. on 640 Toronto, 900 CHML and 980 CFPL. Carter is well-known in Ontario as the co-anchor of Global Toronto’s early evening broadcasts.

Jeff McArthur can be heard across all three stations from 1 to 3 p.m. weekdays. McArthur is a veteran broadcaster with over twenty years of experience, as well as the current host of Global’s The Morning Show.
