We have a whole shitload of news on HearYa favorite, Trampled By Turtles. Their last album, Stars and Satellites, was our favorite album of 2012.
First off, new album. They’re calling it Wild Animals and it will be out on July 15th. Below is the lead track, Are You Behind The Shining Star, and a trailer for the new album. If these were meant to get me fired up for the new album, well mission accomplished my friends to the North.
Second, they are putting on their own festival in Shakopee, MN. The lineup is a HearYa wet dream with TBT, Hurray for The Riff Raff, Charles Bradley, Spirit Family Reunion and Field Report to name a few. Its on 9/20 and I will be campaigning my wife to let me attend under the guise that I am an important media presence. Info is here. Have fun.
Lastly, it appears as if Ryan Young has got a haircut and Erik Berry trimmed his beard. Dave, Dave and Tim still look the same.
