Touting a spacey feel reminiscent of Shabazz Palaces, a murky and nocturnal beat takes hold in the first minute over the precise delivery. The 01:10 transition – “baby, I’m thirsty,” – is brilliantly executed, seamless in its melodic navigation despite being in relatively stark contrast to the preceding melody. It’s a thoroughly captivating turn that has me begging for the track to keep going.
