Overmono Announces 5-Stop ‘Pure Devotion’ Headlining Tour

Published: April 29, 2024

After dropping a remix of The Streets’ 2002 single "Turn the Page,” Overmono has announced that it will be heading on a short headlining tour later this year.

Dubbed the Pure Devotion tour, the run will comprise the electronic duo’s largest venues to date – not counting their festival appearances. The 5-stop tour is slated to kick off in October and will hit major cities throughout Europe and the US.

On October 4, Overmono will play Brooklyn Paramount, followed by a set at Toronto's Opera House the next day. They’ll head to London on October 11 for a show at the O2 Academy before Club Quatro in Osaka and O-East in Tokyo on October 16 and 18, respectively.

Overmono – the duo of brothers Tom and Ed Russell – released its debut LP Good Lies a year ago and hasn’t announced any new projects, so the tour doesn’t appear to be tied to any new collection of music at the moment. With such a short run, it’s possible the duo simply wanted to hit some cities they hadn’t recently performed in.

At first glance, one might think that the Pure Devotion tour is skipping a few seemingly obvious stops but it’s worth remembering that Overmono is a recurring name in the summer festival circuit. The duo has over 20 sets on the  2024 calendar, including stops at Reading & Leeds, Denmark’s Roskilde, Germany’s Melt!, Los Angeles' HARD Summer and more.

Tickets for Overmono’s Pure Devotion tour go on sale on Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m. local time.
