After sitting down for an insightful interview with Bernie Sanders last year, Killer Mike recently welcomed another O.G. to his SWAG (Shave Wash and Groom) barbershop in Atlanta as part of what we hope is a new series called ShopTalk. In this 15-minute clip from their conversation, Mike talks to P-Funk O.G. George Clinton about his own history in the barbershop business, how The Parliaments funded their first hit “(I Wanna) Testify” with $1.2 million in counterfeit bills, and his work with OutKast and Organized Noize.
