Toronto, on the come up yet again.
Rising R&B artist Daniel Caesar took his smooth live set to Los Angeles last night to make his late night television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Introduced with high praise by Beats1 guru Zane Lowe, Caesar launched into a medley of his sultry neo-soul singles “Get You” and “We Find Love” alongside a squad of female back-up singers, eliciting big applause from the audience.
“It’s been amazing to witness Daniel Caesar’s journey up to this point,” said Lowe. “He has one of the most exciting and tasteful voices in modern music.”
Ahead of the release of his debut album Freudian on August 25, Caesar is also the latest artist to be featured by Apple Music’s “Up Next” program, which launched in April to aid artist development.
