Today is Amy Poehler’s birthday. We are so grateful that she was born and has brought so much joy in to our lives. Whether it was on SNL, in her movies and of course as Leslie Knope on Parks and Recreation, Amy Poehler comes fast and furious with he laughs. What makes her character of Leslie on Parks so great is how she can be so funny while also being so optimistic. In a world where making fun of people is often be considered the best of comedy, Amy proves that wrong.

She has also made a huge impact as an advocate for young girls through her group Smart Girls. She really is an incredible role model.

I cannot stress enough that the answer to lifes questions is often in peoples faces. Try putting your iPhones down once in a while, and look in peoples faces. Peoples faces will tell you amazing things. Like if they are angry, or nauseous, or asleep.
