MUCH VJ Search Ep. 6: Winnipeg Challenge

Published: April 08, 2013

After an emotional elimination in Regina that saw funny guy Brian go home, the VJ hopefuls are back on the bus and making Winnipeg their next stop. Its time to see who can cut it on live TV and who chokes under the pressure. Check out the full recap under the jump!

On the MUCH VJ Search, one person out of thousands or hopefuls will be crowned the winner and get the job of a lifetime. But first we have to discuss the lipstick saga a bit more.

Boe accused Madison of stealing her lipstick in Episode 4 (watch here and get Boes take on the sitch here), but Madison isnt going down without a fight. As Kevy explains, the walls in the hotels seem to be getting thinner, with Madison becoming upset after hearing Kevy and Boe discuss the lipstick saga further in the comfort and privacy of their own room. Of all the things to be heard through hotel walls during the competition, lipstick has got to be the most disappointing.

Back to the competition. Host Lauren Toyota announces to the hopefuls that their Winnipeg challenge will require them to prove their live TV skills while appearing on CTV Morning in Winnipeg.

Everyone is grumpy after having to get up at 2:30 and Ryan and Junior wake themselves up by slapping Joshua. Seems like a flawed plan.

Alexandria gets an Edge from Scott, who tells her to be on at all times and pretend that the lens is her best friend. What he should have told her was to not turn her back to the camera, which is unfortunately how she ended her throw along with her partner Junior.

Nash has lost his confidence after being in the bottom two during the last elimination and Justine, who is partnered with the teary Nash, is concerned that hell bring her down and freeze again. Her concerns prove to be correct and when Nash confuses his lines, leaving Justine to jump in and save the segment.

Ryan, who has immunity from Regina, is paired with Lauren Toyota and exclaims that this is the best day of his life! Dude really likes LT.

Madison had some technical difficulties with the interactive screen, but Tyson jumped in like a pro and helped to keep the team going. Oh, and Madisons lipstick looks great, bee tee dubs.

In the end, Lauren and Chloe perform the best and Chloe scores immunity.

Junior and Alexandria find themselves in the bottom along with Nash and Justine. Everyone but Justine is in tears and in the end, the girl who is holding herself together is sent home. Poor Justine takes the news like a champ and has to deal with Nash crying on her.

Do you disagree with Justines elimination? Show your support and help vote her back onto the show. Voting begins on April 19!
