The NBA All-Star weekend is going down this weekend in Toronto and while the temperatures are the coldest of the year, the city has never been hotter. The 6 is flooded with celebrities, including some of the biggest (literally and figuratively) names in basketball.
We’re only halfway through the 2016 NBA All-Star weekend and already we’ve seen more A-listers than the Oscars red carpet. Drake coached Team Canada to a victory during last night’s celebrity basketball game, beating out Coach Kevin Hart, who even took it upon himself to sub in for his players.
Arcade Fire’s Win Butler took home the honour of being named the game’s MVP, scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds to earn Canada a 74-63 win. Basketball scouts, take notice: time to start scouting garage band practices for your next baller.
Before taking home the W for Team Canada, Drake took home the Key to the City, presented by Toronto Mayor John Tory. The only thing surprising about Drake earning the Key to Toronto was that he didn’t have it already.
MUCH’s own Tyrone Edwards was there for all the action and hung out on and off the court with everyone from Butler to Snoop Dogg, Shaq, Nick Cannon and more.
