First time Oscars presenter Ansel Elgort appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week and discussed his nerves leading up to the big day.
Ansel’s biggest fear was pulling a John Travolta by mispronouncing the names in Best Visual Effects, the category he was presenting. In all fairness Ansel, most people wouldn’t have known if you butchered the names. Thankfully for Ansel, the easy-to-say team at Guardians of the Galaxy took home the Oscar.
Once his presenting nerves were gone, Ansel hit the after-parties with his mother, who apparently has never watched TV or been to the movies. Like, ever. Check out what we mean in the clip below.
