Recently, Marilyn Manson and Justin Bieber were at each other’s throats based on a tiff between the rocker and the pop star. After Manson called Bieber a “piece of shit” during a feud that erupted after Bieber claimed he made the rocker revenant again, Manson later dropped some comments on The Howard Stern Show that seemed to resolve whatever issues that had cropped up between the two.
At that moment, it looked like the bad blood between the two had been totally evaporated, or as much as it could, leading some fans to believe now that the air had been cleared between them, there was a real possibility of some kind of friendship or even a collaboration with the Biebs and the Antichrist Superstar.

That doesn’t seem to be the case now, as shock-rocker Manson has called Bieber “a girl,” also insinuating that the pop star has “the mind of a squirrel.” Looks like the feud’s on again, or it never really went away. Speaking to Cindy Scully on radio station 97.1 The Eagle, Manson let loose some comments that sound like some real fighting words.
Manson came out swinging, according to NME: “Well he’s in some sort of sexual religious cult with an Asian version of Dave Navarro, apparently. The guy doesn’t wear a shirt… But no, I don’t like to fight with girls, so I don’t want to fight with Justin Bieber.”
The host asked what Bieber may have been thinking when rocking Manson’s face and branding all over his march, and Manson replied “I don’t know, because I don’t know how to use the mind of a squirrel.”
It wasn’t all negative, with Manson stating he “appreciated” the fact that Manson’s “integrity” that he attempts to represent with rock, but then dropped this enigmatic quote: “Because if I don’t do it, who else is going to? If you want to fuck with that, if you tap the cobra, you’re going to get the fangs. If you kiss the cobra, you get the venom. I’m not really sure what that metaphor means, but you can just absorb that and put it into your own brain.”
When speaking to NME in a recent interview, Manson also divulged that he thought Bieber was “a girl” when the pair first met up.
“I went to meet him at a bar. I saw a girl wearing a baby blue shirt and blonde hair. I was looking for Justin Bieber and then that was Justin Bieber,” he said. “And then he said that he made me relevant and I said you’re never going to be relevant and then he ran over a paparazzi leaving church. So God bless him, I hope he does well.”
None of this exactly bodes well when it comes to seeing Bieber and Manson working together or even behaving in a civil manner toward each other in the future, but hopefully this is just Manson being a surly old rocker and now showing genuine ill will toward Bieber. Because in a perfect world, all our favorite musicians would just get along, right?
