Fresh off the heels of an advanced First Listen over at NPR of the new J Mascis solo record Tied To A Star, the silver haired bandit has teamed up with Fred Armisen and the folks over at Funny Or Die for the video for the lead single Every Morning.
The video, directed by Danny Jelinek stars Mascis as Space Angel, the leader of a religious cult overrun by a corporate sleazeball (played by Fred Armisen).
Tied To A Star was released this month featuring guest appearances from Ken Maiuri of Young@Heart Chorus,Cat Power’s Chan Marshall,Black Heart Procession’s Pall Jenkins andMark Mulcahy from Polaris and Miracle Legion.
