Indie-electronic artist Anders Trentemøller and his band wrapped up their international tour on Wednesday with a killer show at the Fonda. The band packed their LA day to the brim, starting with a performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW and finishing with a triumphant encore in Hollywood. The turnout was immense for this grand finale: the crowd was moving, and energy was high. Anticipation built throughout the opening act, T.O.M. and His Computer, which turned into a giant dance party.
Trentemøllerthanked everyone for supporting his latest album, Lost, and lamented the end of the tour, which boasted 97 shows on three continents. The Danish songwriter has announced that this will be his last tour date for some time, as he plans to get back in the studio in Copenhagen and focus on recording a new album. Great things are ahead for the band, including (hopefully) some collabos – possibly with friends Savages – and more movie soundtrack appearances.
