Pardon the caps but it’s been a minute since we were this excited for metal but MYRKUR is kind of a big fucking deal around here. A one-woman black metal act that plays as readily to faerie folk as it does to the carrions of hell, MYRKUR broke all manner of antisocial norms with the release of last year’s magnificent M (which even NPR gushed over) and now NOW she’s coming to America with none other than BEHEMOTH! to deafen and stun the masses still clinging to the Western patriarchy like a manchild to a broseph’s teet. She’s also touring Europe with Deafheaven which is a bill made in grey Hades but doesn’t do me and my kin any good.
