We’re just real big fans of Future Islands and, it would appear from the swollen roll of a capacity crowd at the Wiltern last week, that we are less alone than we’ve ever been and that’s a good thing. We like the company and we love it when bands so near and dear to our creaky little hearts get the attention and affection they deserve. And, sure, we miss some of the sweat and weirdo intimacy of those earlier gigs (has it only been a year?) but you know what they say, “If you love something, make it famous.” El Jefe concedes.
