Marco Minnemann Previews Album

German drummer and multi-instrumentist Marco Minnemann, reknown for his work with jazz-rock trio The Aristocrats as well as as a session musician for Steven Wilson and Joe Satriani, in the recent years, has recently detailed his upcoming solo release, entitled Celebration.

Minnemann has described Celebration as more cohesive than his previous album, 2014's EEPS. The record will be developing his signature melodic, progressive and pop rock sound further, "with an overall more heavy rock approach and occasionally moving into dark and film music-like territories and interludes.”

The musician, performing all instruments on the record himself, has previewed the album in a promotional video which you can view here, featuring drawings by Carolina Rodriguez:
