FRANK MARINO Launches His Own Hand-Build Pedal Company, Puts Up Three Pedals

Published: April 15, 2024

Frank Marino, famous as being the leader of the Canadian hard rock band Mahogany Rush, has launched his own company called Frank Marino Audio. The company features assistance by Ryan Szawlowski, the son of Frank’s long-time recording engineer Billy Szawlowski, and specializies in handcrafted guitar pedals.

Frank Marino Audio is kicking things off with three debut pedals – a fuzz pedal named Juggernaut, an overdrive pedal dubbed Dragonfly, and a clean boost pedal called Maxoom.

Juggernaut is a specially designed fuzz pedal catering to guitarists seeking intense, blistering overdrive. The pedal includes the ability to switch to soft mode, which provides a softer mode of distortion and slightly less overall sustain while maintaining the characteristics of the pedal.

Then there’s Dragonfly, which delivers a classic tone perfect for guitar players looking to add some extra grit and drive to their sound. The responsive tone controls allow you to easily shape your sound and dial in the perfect amount of drive for any playing style. And finally, there’s Maxoom, which features a maximum level increase of up to 20dB when fully engaged.

All three pedals are available here.
