The Aislers Set were a 90s indie pop band started by Amy Linton after her band Henry's Dress broke up. They made three albums together before parting ways in 2004. Their first and second albums, 1998's Terrible Things Happen and 2000's The Last Match, are both out September 23 via Slumberland and Suicide Squeeze. Give both Advance listens until September 23. (Their third album, 2003'sHow I Learned to Write Backwards, is being reissued on October 14.)

Whirr, the Philadelphia/Bay Area outfit featuringNick Bassett (formerly ofDeafheaven) have anew albumout next week viaGraveface. Swaywasrecorded at Oaklands Atomic Garden withSunbatherproducer Jack Shirley, and can be streamedhereuntil its September 23 release date.

Foxes in Fiction(aka songwriterWarren Hildebrand) will release his latest LP,Ontario Gothic,next week viaOrchid Tapes. It's the follow-up to 2010's Swung From the Branches, and features Owen Palletton more than half of the album, including the previously-shared cut "Shadow's Song"and the title track.
