This year’s festival will be three nights and two days from Friday June 28 to Sunday June 30, 2024 at Laketown Ranch in Lake Cowichan, BC.
Vancouver Island favourite Jesse Roper and Jurassic 5’s DJ Nu-Mark will perform a special kick-off party on the Friday at Laketown Ranch’s Lakenight Stage.
Saturday will feature a couple hip-hop legends. 12-time Grammy Award nominee Busta Rhymes will headline the Saturday bring music spanning three decades to the Cowichan Valley. Busta has had a resurgence in recent years with his performance at the 2023 Grammys during a 50 years of hip-hop medley being one of that award show’s most notable moments.
Joining him on Saturday will be Bone Thugs N Harmony who are sure to perform classic hits ‘The Crossroads’ and ‘1st of Tha Month’. grandson will also perform the Saturday returning to Laketown Ranch for the first time in five years.
Gwen Stefani will close out the festival on the Sunday. Also performing the main stage that day will be Vancouver’s BBNO$ in his first show on the island since Rifflandia 2022
Laketown Ranch features the largest permanent outdoor stage in Western Canada on a 275-acre festival site. Laketown Shakedown will feature three stages spanning multiple genres. The site will also have a village with food, vendors and activities for all ages.
