Six Feet Under Debut Song From Upcoming LP

Crypt of the Devil

At the end of this post, you can stream a new song from Six Feet Under, if you dare.

The track is called “Open Coffin Orgy,” which also happened to be the working title for my autobiography. Gonna have to change that now.

Metal Blade will issue the new Six Feet Under, Crypt Of The Devil, on May 5. Pre-orders are available here.

The ten songs on the disc were written through a 2013 tour collaboration between frontman Chris Barnes and Phil “Landphil” Hall from Cannabis Corpse.

It isn’t clear if Hall is now a member of Six Feet Under, or just worked with Barnes on this one release.

Recording for the album took place at Hall’s studio in Virginia.

Hall tracked rhythm and bass guitar, while his brother, Josh Hall, tracked drums, and guitarist Brandon Ellis tracked the majority of the album’s leads.

I’m confused now about the other members who are supposed to be in Six Feet Under. What’s going on with the band?

Anyways, Barnes took to London Bridge Studio in Seattle to lay down his vocals.

The mix was completed by Rob Caldwell in Sarasota, Florida, and mastering was done by Alan Douches at West West Side in New Windsor, New York.

The new song can be found after the album’s track listing, which is:

1. Gruesome
2. Open Coffin Orgy
3. Broken Bottle Rape
4. Break The Cross In Half
5. Lost Remains
6. Slit Wrists
7. Stab
8. The Night Bleeds
9. Compulsion To Brutalize
10. Eternal in Darkness
