‘Patterns in Re-population’ by Cultural Cannibals will create three murals, in three neighborhoods, with participation from the top three groups repopulating Marion County: African-Americans, Latinos, and Asians. They will travel to neighborhood centers inviting the community to bring their traditional textiles, clothes, blankets, scarves etc. to be photographed, then return to paint murals based upon each neighborhood’s textile contributions.
