New England stoner/doom metal motherfuckers Leather Lung are gonna be heading south this July to spread their groove-laden, booze-fueled fury in support of their latest full-length Graveside Grin.
Set to kick off on July 12 at Reggie’s 42nd St. Tavern in Wilmington, North Carolina and will come to an end at Philly’s Milk Boy on July 20. Speaking of the newly announced tour, frontman Mike Vickers said he and his bandmates were excited to take the new tunes out on the road.
“We’ve got a Graveside Grin from ear-to-ear hearing y’alls response to the new album. It’s long overdue that we get this show on the road! This July we’re bustin’ through swingin’ doors all down the Southeast. Don’t miss the party!”
Given this band’s penchant for beers, bud, and partying, each show’s sure to be a great time. The fact that the Philly show is on a Saturday is particularly problematic for my liver and/or lungs since that’s practically in my backyard.
Graveside Grin came out on March 15 via Magnetic Eye Records, so if you haven’t already gotten your copy yet, you can do so right the fuck now. You won’t regret it.
