Nicki Minaj kicked off Super Bowl XLIX weekend with a bang bang. Looking sexy in a crochet catsuit, the rap MVP touched down at Bud Light’s House of Whatever in Phoenix, Ariz. for a special performance on Friday night (Jan. 30). In addition to hits like “Super Bass” and “Moment 4 Life,” she performed new material off The Pinkprint for the first time including “Truffle Butter” and “The Night Is Still Young.”

Before hitting the stage, Nicki sat down for an interview with the “Today” show, which aired Saturday. When it comes to the Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots, she doesn’t have a preference. “For me, it’s about the parties,” she told Craig Melvin.

Rihanna is also in town for the Super Bowl festivities. The singer will reportedly take the stage at DirecTV’s Super Saturday Night bash at Pendergast Family Farm tonight.
