Mariah Carey Puts Career In JAY-Z’s Hands, Officially Throws Up The Roc

Published: November 22, 2017

R&B icon Mariah Carey is putting her faith and career into the hands of longtime friend JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation. New reports claim the veteran crooner has teamed up with the star-studded entertainment company.

According to reports, Carey is now riding with Young Hov’s growing business for new management.

Page Six has exclusively learned that she’s signing with Roc Nation to manage her career after firing former manager Stella Bulochnikov earlier this month. “[Mariah’s] cleaning house. She is getting legitimate people, assistants, a lawyer, and Stella is not happy about it,” an insider told us. (Page Six)

Earlier this year, New York rapper Jim Jones officially joined forces with Roc Nation.

Sources close to the “We Fly High” rapper tell us he signed Tuesday with Jay Z and his lieutenants, OG and Ty Ty, to manage all facets of Jim’s brand … music, fashion, acting and more. Our sources say Jim decided to end the feud with Hova to show other rappers it’s possible to cut through the drama, and just make smart business decisions. Pretty amazing truce, considering they’ve been at each other since JJ sided with Cam’ron over Jay in the 2004 break up of Roc-A-Fella Records. (TMZ)

Hours prior, Jimmy confirmed his new business venture on social media.

Last January, rap star Lil Wayne appeared to low-key declare his own Roc Nation loyalty.

During his appearance at the first “LIV on Sunday’s” of 2017, Tunechi was spotted jamming out to his “Burn” freestyle off Dedication 4 (I forgot how dope this song is) and throwing up the ROC sign. Weezy also got on the mic to shout “when you see me it’s Y-M-R-O-C” and “triangle”, which I would presume is for the ROC hand sign. (Lil Wayne HQ)
