Florida rapper Kodak Black suffered a huge blow in court today. A judge found him guilty of five counts of violating the terms of his house arrest.
Details have surfaced of Black’s Wednesday (April 26) appearance including his sentencing date.
Judge Thomas M. Lynch made the ruling just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. But any decision as to whether the rapper would face further, if any, jail time would have to wait until another hearing on May 4. Black, whose given name is Dieuson Octave, is in a downtown Fort Lauderdale courtroom for the third day of his probation violation hearing, which began just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. (Sun-Sentinel)
Last week, coverage emerged of Kodak’s publicized house probation violation case.
In mid-March, hip-hop artists DJ Drama and Yo Gotti both rallied for Black’s freedom.
A few weeks ago, a courtroom pic of Black surfaced across social media.
