Breakfast at the Ace - The Rapiers - cover by Dave Monk - Video

DESCRIPTION:
"Breakfast at the Ace" was an instrumental written by Lawes and recorded by The Rapiers. It was released on 1st January 1993.
The Ace Cafe was built in 1938 as a roadside cafe to cater for traffic, particularly hauliers, using the new
North Circular Road that runs around London in the UK.
Being open 24 hours, the Ace Café soon attracted motorcyclists who came to listen to the jukebox.
From this powerful fusion of motorbikes and Rock ´n´ Roll came the legends of record-racing, "drop the coin right into the slot", and race to a given point and back before the record finished.
A potted history of the Ace Café can be seen here...http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/history.aspx
Here is my version of this fast paced tune. I hope you like it. Dave
p.s. Since recording this tune I have acquired an ear infection in my left ear.
It's been extremely painful and listening to this, all I can hear is a "Scratching" sound from my left ear. I hope my hearing returns soon! Fingers crossed!

Backing track is available from Leo's Den...
