JOY TO THE WORLD is an original jazz arrangement by Skafish of this public domain perennial favorite. It also opens the thirteen-track album, TIDINGS OF COMFORT AND JOY – A JAZZ PIANO TRIO CHRISTMAS. This piece was recorded on take two, only twenty minutes after Skafish met his bassist and drummer for the first time. Recorded and mixed on tape at CRC Studios in Chicago, both JOY TO THE WORLD and the album were produced by Skafish.
