Skafish made his second appearance as a guest on WJOB radio's "Flying Around the Sun" on September 6, 2012 in Hammond Indiana, where he was interviewed by show hosts Mark Mybeck and Phil Rapchak.

On the show, Skafish discussed the recent release of BOOTLEG 21-35, the first-ever live Skafish album, which was recorded August 29, 1977 at the artist's 21st birthday party performance in Chicago at Ratso's. In addition to premiering tracks from the bootleg. Skafish gave away free digital copies of the album to those who called in by phone. Among other topics, Skafish talked about the history of his band and being a bandleader, his pioneering days in Chicago as the city's punk/new wave/alternative and indie Godfather, and his role as a co-creator of these art forms internationally. Skafish also discussed his relationship with IRS Records chief Miles Copeland.

In addition to being featured in the international cult classic film "Urgh! A Music War!", Skafish has toured/performed with such artists as The Police, Iggy Pop, Ramones, Cramps, U-2, UB-40, English Beat, XTC, Squeeze, The Stranglers, Ultravox, Dead Boys, Scorpions, Sha Na Na, and Lemonheads.
