On December 8, 2011, Chicago Punk Pioneer Skafish was interviewed on the Flying Around The Sun show, hosted by Mark Mybeck and Phil Rapchak on WJOB radio in Hammond, Indiana.

Jim Skafish, known as the Godfather of Chicago punk, has toured/performed with such artists as The Police, Iggy Pop, Ramones, Cramps, U-2, UB-40, English Beat, XTC, Squeeze, The Stranglers, Ultravox, Dead Boys, and Lemonheads.

Topics covered included the origin of Chicago punk and new wave, Skafish's controversial performance in the international concert film "Urgh! A Music War," to how his second album was vehemently rejected for being too offensive by Miles Copeland and IRS Records. Skafish also answered questions and discussed topics with live phone calls from the audience.

The interview was streamed live and captured on film by Guy Rhodes, where it is shown here in its entirety.
