DESCRIPTION: This is 1 of 4 video dance compilations from performances by the Nashville International Folk Dancers, a recreational dance group in Nashville TN. For more information, our website is: NIFDdance.com. The first performance is from the 1997 Celebration of Cultures at Scarrit-Bennett in Nashville. The dances are: JoJon, followed by a women's dance, Daronee (both from Armenia), Jove Male Mome (Bulgarian), ending with Ya Abud (from Lebanon) and Kochari (Assyrian). The video then moves to a 2007 performance at Centennial Park in Nashville featuring excepts from these 4 dances: Pentozoli (Greek), Dela din Oprisor (a men's dance from Romania), Bielolitza Kruglalitza (Ukraine),and ending with 'Ali 'Ali (from Lebanon.) The Armenian and Lebanese dances were all taught by Tom Bozigian.
