The Ball and The Wall - Music Marathon​

What happens when a professional musician locks himself up in his studio 24 hours a day for a whole week and invites more than 30 established musicians ​from various genres to join him and create one unique ​30 minute long ​musical​ piece? It's what Danish producer, guitarist and songwriter Noah Rosanes set to find out during 1 week in January, as he implemented his unique new experiment for The Ball and The Wall with​​ Music Marathon. The ​Music Marathon ​concept is unprecedented​. When Noah Rosanes aka The Ball and The Wall entered his studio, ​there ​​was a blank canvas, ​but within the week's 168 h​ours ​he managed to produce and create "Unify" - a creative musical landscape, both limitless and unpredictable.

The result is a stunning 30 minute continuous musical journey, created by an epic musical experiment.

The story behind the title is interesting too.. Noah and Selina Gin​ (Nelson Can)​ where having a hard time coming up with the right lyrics for a Section, when Noah received a message from a young guy who had be following the Music Marathon online and had sent across some lyrics hoping to inspire. They opened the files and saw the line "I Want To Unify", which really summed up what the musical project was all about- bringing musicians together… and that's how the project got it's name "UNIFY".


Over the last 15 years, Noah Rosanes has managed to build a career on creative enterprise in his native country Denmark, whether it’s as a performing artist, producer, composer or an entrepreneur in the business of music. The industrious Dane has never really cared for the conventions of genre. Previously he served as front man in the alternative rock band The Freudian Slip, produced and wrote songs in realms such as pop, rock, indie, electronic and even country (spawning a series of “picks of the week” on national Danish radio) for a number of established, Danish artists, and for TV and commercials alike. Besides his ventures into music production, he also runs the concept record label 10.000 records, his Best Kept Secret-studio and is the man behind a groundbreaking movie theatre-tour that presented Danish music audiences for an elite selection of Danish music videos. Now the Copenhagen-based multi talent is back with his latest solo project The Ball And The Wall, which gathers all of his years of experience in the creative field into one, single musical entity. The Ball And The Wall is electronic pop music from the unique perspective of a creative mastermind.
