Something Breaks My Heart - Rick Berlin w/ THE NICKEL & DIME BAND - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 08, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
It isn't necessarily the major disturbances in life that hit us in the heart. It can sometimes be the face, the look in the eyes of a total stranger, or the whisper of a barely heard exchange between two friends on a sidewalk or in a grocery store. These shards of life can pull us out of our headlong daily trajectory and take us into a place of quiet empathy and perhaps even love. At least half of the faces here are of people I don't know. People who thankfully let me shoot 10 seconds of them looking into the camera without talking or smiling. It's all in their eyes.
