DESCRIPTION:
When I was 14 my father, Dick, read me love letters from his girlfriend, Molly, a student at Bryn Mawr College. He would sob with exaggerated emotion, but seemed proud of himself. Of having a young girl in his life. Meanwhile my mom, Jane (that's right, Dick and Jane) would be hurt and angry. I didn't know how to respond. I certainly wasn't at ease with any of it. The song and this video are kinda funny, kinda sad. Shot half of it on a lo-fi Canon vid cam and the rest on my iPhone.
