Too Tired Today Blues - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 05, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
This is another bare-bones acoustic blues song from the vault. This one was written in probably 1974 or so. As I said before, this is the style that Willie Dixon loved of mine...just acoustic guitar (he called it "your box") and vocal. If I had listened to him at the time I would probably be "famous" now but I wanted to be a guitar hero. But then my karma also had something to say about it all. This song was just about a woman along the way whose moods were getting me down. I like the one line where I tell her that "I may be the only man who sees the beauty that is you". These acoustic blues were always fun to do. Please forgive the fact that there is some scratchiness in the recording. Please enjoy this blast from my past...Hare Krsna!!!
