At 441 West Canfield Street in Detroit's historic Cass Corridor sits a building that housed the Willys Overland Motor Company in the early 20th Century and is currently home to the Shinola flagship, The Jolly Pumpkin Brewery, Run Detroit, Willy's Detroit retail store, and now, as of November 27th, 2015, Third Man Records Cass Corridor.

We are overwhelmed and overjoyed by the amount of fans, family, and friends who were in attendance yesterday as we opened our doors for the first time to the public. This space is the amalgamation of many months of dreaming, scheming, blood, sweat, and tears, and we are beyond thrilled to finally show it to the world.

Our second retail space, which will soon also be home to Third Man Vinyl Record Pressing, is so much more than just a store, It's a bonafide paradise for music lovers, the contraption-curious, and the inner kid in us all. Have a seat and flip a page or two in our Third Man Books Nook, bribe the Third Man Records House Band — The Syncopators — into playing a song from their jukebox fake book, listen to our ENTIRE catalog in our Listening booth... You can record your own (incredible sounding) 6" record in the second of two Third Man Recording Booths (the first still lives in our Nashville flagship). Collect another Mold-a-rama sculpture for your prized chachki shelf (it's a yellow mold of our satellite superstar, the Rolling Record Store!) Take a photo in the Impossible Photo Booth, the first booth of its kind to shoot using our Impossible Duochrome Black & Yellow film, made specifically for Third Man Records by Polaroid-heros the Impossible Project. Ride Mini Topsy, a motorized Elephant scooter who is ready to take smalls and talls alike for a spin around the store.

If you're one of those folks who must see to believe, you're in luck. We captured the whole day on film. Give it a watch, and if you weren't one of the good folks who waited in line to welcome us on our first day of business, please do stop by and see us soon. We are humbled to be in a position where we can return to the town that started it all, and absolutely thrilled for what the future holds for Third Man Records Cass Corridor. Thank you, Detroit.
