Lifted from the “Red String Riddim EP” (out 27th May) the standout track “Pressure I feat. Yaz Alexander & Benjamin Zephaniah” was released on Tru Thoughts via the acclaimed Sharp And Ready compilation, a showcase for the label’s UK Sound System Culture wing.

This video was filmed along the Hastings coastline and captures the dramatic landscape; a waterfall, sunrise and hilltops. The Sea’s skilful production is accompanied by words of wisdom from Dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah and Brummie songstress Yaz Alexander. Its iconic one-drop rhythm is ignited by Alexander’s sultry calls for an uprising which encase a revolutionary message of optimism from Zephaniah, for those weighted heavily by social pressures and in need of some poetic healing to help you reflect on the importance of being in touch with the elementary qualities of life.
