Welcome to the Underworld



The time has come for Moorish Delta 7 the Midland's most respected hip hop crew to release their new street track Levels. The first single to be taken from their long awaited forthcoming album Life In The City.



Moorish Delta 7 are Cipher, Malik & Jawar. These three make up one of the most influential and respected hip hop acts in the UK. No one can accuse Moorish Delta 7 of not paying their dues. For 6 years they have been one of the leading presences on the UK hip hop scene. Once in a while an amalgamation of minds changes the face of music, exploding preconceptions and forcing you to change your ideas about hip hop.

That's the incendiary Moorish Delta 7.



Formed in 1995, the Birmingham based crew have exhibited their inimitable sound across Europe, supporting international artists including DJ Whoo Kid - G Unit, Wu Tang, Dilated Peoples, Mobb Deep, Foxy Brown, Big Daddy Kane, Beatnuts, Erick Sermon and DMX among others.



Their debut album Power & the Glory was a landmark in UK hip hop - a self funded hip hop act making a hot album, producing its own quality videos, with quality album art direction, marketing and distribution. They have now also set up independent production company/ record label- Seven Entertainment.



In 2005 they released the underground mixtape showcasing all the artists in the Underworld with many artist features including; Shyeim the Rugged Child of Wu Tang, Hell Raza of Sunz of Man, Skinny Man, Mike GLC of Street Dreams, Yogi, Big V and Adante. Production is handled by Cipher, Baby J and Urban Monk.
