Sadly, I just heard of Eartha Kitt's passing. One of the reasons I chose to NOT attempt the typical SEXY version of this song and change it into a kind of a broadway cutesy kind of "do" is because frankly I think NOBODY can do it like Eartha did it. Luckily Madonna had a musical version made that was close enough to allow me to go with that. Eartha just had a way with so many things that could ooze sexiness and class at the same time. Anyway, a loss of a GREAT entertainer. Condolences to all that loved her. Back to the old info... Too bad it is relegated to once a year! I actually never performed it until THIS YEAR.. (I just realized I changed the convertable year from 54 to 52. So much for lyrics on the net! So my inexperience with the song shows oops... Nah I just like a different year?? nah just original) so ANYWAY here is my debut. FUN FUN FUN! I sang it for the first time at a performance at the West L.A. VA yesterday and decided to put it up here on youtube as well. SO MUCH FUN! I love getting into parts.
