DESCRIPTION:
I actually wrote and was ready to record this song, lyrics and melody, in an hour on a bet. It is yet another one of my songs I wrote cause I needed happy songs. I LOVE this one and in fact when done with it I realized how much it made ME want to go to South Puerto Vallarta! Please listen and enjoy.
There is a really funny note about writing in English and Spanish that I learned when writing this song. Initialy the speaking "tease" was going to be "no hay mejor" and if you don't speak spanish ask me to say it or ask someone... but the way it is said.. well since it is primarily an English song, for those that don't know Spanish that would have sounded terrible right before my singing "here on the playa..". I ALMOST recorded it that way but then laughed when I heard it and changed it to "Ven a este paraiso" which means come to this paradise. No hay mejor means there is nothing better. The problem is that it can also be heard in English if not expecting Spanish as "no I'm a whore" Yes - that is how it is pronunced. Thus my lesson for writing in dual English and Spanish. Listen form each language individually before laying down any permanent vocal tracks! Kinda funny story :) OK here are the lyrics. I love this song it is great for dancing and one day I will be with a man that will take me to enjoy the paradise I sing and wrote about :) Thanks for listening!
