Celebrated for his powerful voice, unique instrumentation, unusual arrangements and organic, left field production, Brian Campeau is no regular singer songwriter. He's trying something a little different, and succeeding brilliantly at it.

In 2006 Brian released a full-length double album "Two Faces" to rave reviews both locally and internationally.
In 2009 he released his follow-up album "Mostly Winter Sometimes Spring" which he toured extensively. He's performed at numerous festivals including The Great Escape, Peats Ridge, and The Illawarra Folk Festival, and was hand-picked by the legendary Jackie Orszacsky to perform alongside him at the Sydney Opera House.

He has recorded and worked closely with Angus and Julia Stone, Melanie Horsnell, and Elana Stone, and has performed with renowned artists such as Joanna Newsom, James Blunt (UK), Tina Harrod, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Katie Noonan.

A genuine talent of mood and music, Campeau has been known to stop a room with a whisper. This Sydney troubadour deserves your immediate attention.

"A vocal floating like a plastic bag in the breeze, a guitar that sounds like it once belonged to Nick Drake, and underneath it all some infuriatingly good beats, just to remind us we're in the city, not the country. These are Brian Campeau's tools, and he's one hell of a tradesman."

"His soaring vocals and intricate finger-picking held the crowd in a dreamy silence. His ability to produce whimsical harmonics matches the powerful howl that explodes from his body. His performance is by no means conventional or commercial and the varying lengths of his tunes would not warrant commercial airplay. This is exactly the point because Campeau certainly deserves a strong cult following though, despite his magic, is a well kept local secret."
