Producer, Songwriter, Singer, Multi-instrumentalist, DJ, wine connoisseur, Chris Arnott has all the important boxes checked. A hard artist to pin down to one genre Chris writes and produces music on a prolific scale. He writes club monsters, vocal hits, heart wrenching ballads, smooth soul, pop gems and rock anthems.
He is a skilled multi-instrumentalist with extensive experience with bands, and solo work and recently he’s also stepped quite comfortably, and successfully into the world of dance music.
Due to his life of musical training, he picked up DJing in a flash, and already had the studio skills of a wizard. Once applied, he smashed a few remixes, then delivered no less than 2 monster vocal club anthems that year. ‘My Heart Stops’, and ‘Only A Day’. Both were collaborations with high profile Australian DJs.
The first of which (with fRew, and Rosie) has recently been re-released with a Bass Kleph remix, and a shiny new music video. The second collaboration (with Brisbane hero Baby Gee) is now a big room, progressive anthem. It saw the pair rise into the ARIA top 50 for over 13 weeks, and hit a high at #16. He’s been remixed by Bass Kleph, Felix Baumgartner, Tommy Trash, Christian Luke, and more. Across the globe, DJs playing Chris’s records include Axwell, Dubfire, Paul van Dyk, Dave Spoon, Alex Kenji, Kid Massive, Morgan Page, Santiago & Bushido, DJ Dan, Sara Main, Yelle DJs, The Potbelleez, Goodwill, Stafford Brothers, Sgt Slick and more. He’s even already had tracks included on compilations for Ministry Of Sound and Vacation Records.
2010 has seen Chris release his first solo Tech House Record 'In Vino Veritas' which garnered positive feed back and supportt from renown produders and DJs around the world, while his collaboration with Kid Massive & BassKleph 'All Right' has become somewhat of a crowd favorite and hit #16 on the Beatport house charts.
October has seen the release of 'Where Do We Go' (Bass Kleph & Chris Arnott) debuting at #45 on the ARIA club charts and has been recieved extremely well by DJs and fans alike.
Upcoming releases include 'This New Style' w/ fRew ft. Rosie which will be out for summer on ONE LOVE and a few lil secrets in the bag for this tireless producer/songwriter.
All the while Chris is working on his Electronic/Songwriter Opus 'Mechanical Flower' which will blossom soon. (Promise!!)
