DESCRIPTION:
Julia Haltigan & The Hooligans perform "Can't Run Away" at Glasslands in Brooklyn, NY on January 9, 2010. The camcorder view is from the second floor balcony looking down upon the stage. You can see the entire band in the frame, but guitarist Gerald Menke isn't well lit. He's the fellow in the shadows working the Telecaster. Next to him, plunking along on the upright bass is the head-bobbing Bennett Huxley Miller. Next to Bennett is the very smoothe Steve Williams behind the drum kit. In the front row, sandwiched between the guitar-wielding Julia and her mandolin-playing father Emmet, is trumpeter and singer Joe Ancowitz.
