Ras I-Dre - Steaming Team Ft. Princess Kazayah

Ras I-Dre, D.O.V.E. Muzik’s herb king, links with Princess Kazayah once more to release a hit single called “Steaming Team.” The new single features production by Wadadah II as well as lyrics and vocals from Ras I-Dre and Princess Kazayah.

Steaming Team focuses on the steaming aspect of partaking in a Marjuana sacrament, or just recreational-social use of the Ganja. From hailing the Most High to the first pull from the steam chalice the song illustrates through lyrics the steaming experience. Steaming is one of the ways to use marijuana without smoking and still receiving the meditative smile. Steaming involves a steam chalice and some very nice herb with some fruit skin [i.e. orange peel]. After combining water, herb and coconut shell coal it is now time to taste the true essence of the herb.

Fusing Hip Hop and Reggae together Wadadah II found a unique balance giving space for such songs as Steaming Team to find its way on the riddim track. Four minutes of hailing Jah and an in depth explanation of the steamers experience via catchy lyrics and melodies from Ras I-Dre & Princess Kazayah. Hearing the steam chalice bubbling in the background of this track as Ras I-Dre sings, “Righta now we ah steam,” gives you the effect that as the song is playing a steaming sessions is happening right there on the track.
