DESCRIPTION:
French-American singer / song stylist Pascalito and his Neostalgia band present a new interpretation of "Le Cinema" an atmospheric jazz piece from 1962, written by Michel Legrand and Claude Nougaro. The performance is preceded by a spoken introduction about the song meaning and a tribute to the poetic genius of the late great French singer songwriter Claude Nougaro, unfortunately relatively unknown in the United States, who was a pioneer in merging French balladry with North American jazz and South American influences, a successful merger of styles that Pascalito himself seeks to continue exploring.
